for more information. SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE (SA) ACTIVITIES
§ Conducted media campaign on biotechnology with numerous articles published in the local press. § Organized Workshop for civil society organizations on biotechnology to increase awareness and understanding and build capacity for effective advocacy. § Gave Lectures and presentations to the public on biotechnology. § Initiated Sustainable Agriculture Communications for Rural Advancement, a newsletter for SA advocates in the Philippines. § Organized and formed Philippine Sustainable Agriculture Coalition (PhilSAC) § Worked for consensus definition of SA in Philippines and Asia and the NGO Treaty on Agriculture in the Rio Earth Summit.
§ Developed critique of conventional green revolution agriculture and proposed and demonstrated alternative framework of SA § Introduction to SA and Biodynamic Agriculture.
