About CADI

The Center for Alternative Development Initiatives (CADI) is a civil society organization (CSO) founded in 1988 and dedicated to the study, encouragement and implementation of sustainable development through threefolding, including threefolding partnerships

CADI aims to loosen the hold of reductionist and materialistic thoughts, structures, practices and behaviors which produce social cancers including elite globalization, poverty, environmental destruction, chemical poisoning, physician-induced diseases, injustice, malnutrition and moral corruption, among others.

CADI, in its pursuit of sustainable development, provides research, education, training, networking and consultations in many areas of the newly emerged second and more holistic scientific revolution.

The new sciences as well as discoveries in existing disciplines (quantum physics, holistic biology, mentalistic brain research, psycho-neuro-immunology, transpersonal psychology, reflexive sociology, associative economics, linguistics, epistemology, and others) are clearly pointing to the reality and activity of Spirit in Nature, Human Beings, and Society. Societal policies and initiatives should therefore reflect these new scientific and spiritual realities rather than the outmoded and limited materialistic concepts of the 19th century.
